LongJohn and his wife,
Made a little plan,
When they decided to make love,
They'd use a word they'd understand.

They'd use the word "Typewriter"
Then the kids would never know,
When LongJohn wanted "loving"
That was the only word to flow.

He sent his daughter to his wife,
And told her to tell her mom,
"Tell her I need to type a letter,
Now go ahead-go on."

She went and told her mother,
What LongJohn wanted said,
Her mom replied, "Tell him NO,
Cuz right now the ribbon's red."

Later on that same day,
His wife told his little daughter,
"Go tell your dad that if he wants,
He now can "type" that letter."

LongJohn said that it's too late,
That he made other plans,
Since the typewriter wasn't working,
He wrote the letter out "BY HAND"
