I now realize
that I had to go through
those humbling
and painful experiences,
to effect the changes
in my life
that have brought to me
such incredible joy.

Gone are the dark days
when I was just a dormant,
chunk of non-descript coal.
The intense pressures
that had been exerted on me,
for oh, so many years,
have since turned me into
a bright, multi-faceted diamond.

I now live my life
in a higher vibration
with vibrant energy
pulsating through
every cell of my being.

I thank God, my angels
and my spirit guides,
for freeing me
from an existence
of dark despair
and for delivering me
into the Light
