I had no idea you all stayed in one house. It must have been hilarious! A poet's pajama party! Thanks for sharing your poems and pictures. Lyra, I am so glad you got to be there and meet all the folks. Now concentrate on getting well. I'm making my replies to your Memories out of order. I was so anxious to get to part two after having read part one, that I forgot to make my reply to the first installment! Guess I better go back and do that now! I suppose this gives you an idea of how much I have enjoyed your memories! Linda |

I relive our days together In that hot and sweaty weather With me that's always the case In hot weather I get a red face Beautiful words from a beautiful lady. So lucky we were to be able to get together. Titia Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Many of the posts I read about your poets adventure, brought the time alive for me. Yours...gave it a heart that I think must reflect all of you. |

You did a wonderful job of recounting the meeting and thank you for sharing it with those of us who could not make it. I am sure glad you found your way, I tried - honest - short of sending down a Canadian Mountie to help! Howdy Neighbour |

Sharon... Thanks so much for your reply and also for your efforts to find someone else who might have the phone number... Luckily, Nan had it and we were able to borrow a cell phone because ours was deader than a doornail... It seems that our charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter in the car, doesn't work anymore... It was just one disaster on top of another, and I really didn't think we would ever get there... but I'm so glad we did... Thanks for your help. Sue... thanks so much for your reply. I had lots of fun and I'm sure that everyone else did also... I am currently getting radiation treatments for my leg, along with some physical therapy for it... This takes a lot of my time and energy, so I'm not able to be online as much right now...but only for 3 more weeks... and then, I wonder what else will hit me... Although, I feel generally well, I keep getting all of these problems associated with the cancer or the treatments... and as a result, during the past 13 months since my diagnosis... I have only had 3 weeks when nothing was wrong... Radrook... thanks so much for your reply, and I'm glad you enjoyed the poem Lyra |
