An Ocean of Thoughts

An ocean of thoughts laps my shore
And saps the sand to evermore.
And I am drawn into the sea
The dawning of eternity

The crest of waves fall figure eight
And I am pulled into its fate
Tossed and tumbled and turned around
Confounded in the fates rebound.

I hear the bells of time that toll
They vibrate in my very soul
And though I drag my anchors weight
I know inside there is a date.

And so I wait the sickles sweep
To grate me into dust of reap
And make of me a source to be
The essence of Eternals Sea

Yet an ocean of thoughts still lap
Or are they too, just changed to scrap?

We all await the sickles sweep
I see today your thoughts run deep
it may be that such things we keep
don't worry sir you sow we reap
Enjoyed

Good Morning, Mr. T.--

Outdid yourself again, I see! I just read RSWells reply. If he doesn't mind, I'd like to say "ditto"!

Seymour - haven't we all thought about our "time's up" call? It's out of our hands though. Besides, to-day is sunny and mild here, the leaves are showing off their colours....what a blessing to have even just to-day!! hugs to you, Chris   p.s. I did enjoy this write!!

Sey good morning.  I believe you have touched upon something we all have thought at times.  Very well done.

Sy,

You have a great way of looking at things.  It's always from a slant that is off-angle from the norm, yet it makes so much sense.

ebb and flow the ocean
Often I  walk the shore
spilling my emotion

Thinking Cap.

...so, the essence of all you gave, must be the measurement of if you're saved....

Well, I'd say, you're in like Flynn, kind sir, and we all will fly.....

How blessed we are to have you

Warmly,
Pat

Yes SY...we do all await this moment...for
some...way to early....and then there are
those who sit and wait for that moment...
smiling,  having had a full life...

(sigh) Yes, it is all a matter in embracing each of these layers of thoughts and let them ebb before us and soak up the nutrients that evade the sands and once we find that inner=peace then we can gladly become one with the sea! (big huggssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Ah but I loved this one, and Richard's response to you - now that would be something to see - the two of you playing lines off each other - and you both could do it so well!  Oh this was a keeper for my heart.
