Let winter snow come heavily laden, I have plenty of fire wood ready, My pantry is stocked from the gardens yield, There are new warm quilts and sheets of cotton, The windows caulked when the nights get windy When blowing across the now fallow field. Winter can come I’m patiently waiting, I’ve lamp oil and fragrant candles plenty, Now won’t you come share what my dreams have filled Gloom for someone special |

Well now Professor!! Who could pass up such a romantic invitation? Enjoyed this. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

I am someonespecial, although may not be yours. In Winter's play, I love the day when snow piles all the more. By fireside, the warmth of two, in sharing nature's gift, We need not starve as love fulfills and comforts through night's drift. And watching through the windows frost to view the soft decor, I may not be your special one, but it's you, whom I adore.... [This message has been edited by someonespecial (10-10-2002 04:59 PM).] |

Thank you, Gentle Spirit Wood is one way to keep warm, The important thing is the keep warm and To keep dreaming, a pleasure to me that you liked this. Thank you, Earth Angel, Being in Canada, I guess you are used to heavy snows Harsh winters and being snowbound, just a dream to me That at times seems close to perfection, Thanks for the offer You are kind and a pleasure in response. Thank you, someonespecial For the wonderful poetic reply In winter’s playground of snowfalls sound And the wind makes ripples on snowy ground, Frosted window from breath in shadows Four eyes watch the moonlight on the meadow As the gentle dear cautiously come near As we from beneath one quilt do peer.
