Destruction!
Do you know our destiny?
Construction?
Do you know our history?

Haunted by the memory of a world that once was living,
haunted by the history of a world we thought so "giving!"

Harrowed by the imagery in this place we call our "home".
Swallowed up in destiny by a bomb made by our own!

Destruction!
Do you know our destiny?
Construction?
Do you know our history?

Sickened by the sight of it....heap of lies and dying -
defeated in our hope for it when we halted our "trying!"

Demented in our reasoning.....WAR we kept denying!
Represented by stupidity, WHO were we defying?

Destruction!
Do you know our destiny?
Construction?
Do you know our history?

Suspended by the shock of it.......what are we implying?
"it ended!" that's the hell of it......when man stopped trying!

Pretended itwas gone did you? No point in you hiding!
IT ENDED - that's the hell you're in.......now we're all dying!

It ended.......that's the hell you're in - forget the crying!

Destruction!
Do you know our destiny?
Construction?
Do you know our history?
THE END!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Bernadette, this is so very sad but true, sweet friend, I feel it is best sometimes not to create and just to work with what we have as we only spread more problems! This is a powerful debut, sweet friend, I love it! Welcome to Passions, sweet Bernadette, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your lovely words, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bernadette, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Welcome to Passions.  Much enjoyed your poem.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Vicious little dance we've danced since Cain
our denial never came in from the rain.
Welcome.
