morning’s silhouettes morning’s silhouettes stand against a backdrop of crimson, azure tatted leaves form lacy fronds from blackened limbs fowl flit in rhythmic waves steeples spire crosses adoring the heavens utility poles echo their praise east and west against the grays that form from sun’s sweet rise a golden glimmer rises dousing the stars from sight as dawning brings and end to night while silhouettes slowly capture color for the day time to pray ©October9, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
