I would that I could touch those places long cold building warmth where now lies void freeing you from the history told word upon cutting word I would share the heat of me if in sharing it brought you back from those regions desolate now devoid I would be sunlight to your cloud letting the shadows waft below our course with soft touch on earth or cheek to passers by I would that the pain could be mine and you free |
