My feelings are so strong To hard to explain I don’t know if it’s love Or still just a game I’ve never been in love So I don’t know how it feels My heart isn’t broken But if it breaks it will heal I care about him deeply Unlike I’ve cared for anyone I want to stay with him This time I don’t want to run When I’m with him I feel so good inside I feel so warm and safe I don’t have to hide Every time we kiss There’s definite feelings there I can’t describe them But I know that I care Just sleeping next to him Is a comfort to me So when I open my eyes He’s the first thing I see Spending time with him To me means so much Just the tenderness of his kiss And the warmth of his touch To me it’s real Something I want to last I want my actions with guys To be a part of my past For once in my life I want something to go right I want to be with him For many more nights I want him to myself I don’t want to share But that’s too much to ask For him it’s unfair He has a child He loves another This is making it hard For us to love each other But in the end It will turn out for the best If we can make it through the tough times That’s part of the test For this one time I’m going to follow my heart We have tough times ahead But we’ve made it through the start I’m not giving up on him I believe that he cares My only fear is that someday He’s not going to be there I hope that day never comes But I should never say never Because I know it my heart That it won’t last forever But who knows what the future holds Even if someday we’re apart No matter what happens He’ll always be in my thoughts and in my heart "Love me little, Love me long, Is the burden of my song" - Robert Herrick |
