Everyone knows the Titanic,
The movie's brought it fame
The loss of life was tragic,
And they also lost Mayonannaise.

Hellmann's Mayo was from England,
The Titanic had ten thousand jars,
It was lost in the sinking
Sandwich lovers grieved afar.

The whole world mourned the loss
"How'd we make salads with our potatoes?"
They declared a day of mourning:
And called it "Sinko de Mayo."

Every Sinko de Mayo day, I wear black and send prayers up to the heavens in remembrance of all the jars that perished!

And it was that great tragedy
The sinking of such a ship
That led to the production of
The south's favorite - Miracle Whip!

ROFL... Now why do I suddenly crave a sandwich? LOL I like this very much, Toe! Thanks for the chuckles!!! *S*

Ah, Ha Ha Ha Ha  Oh, thanks, I needed that. Not sure if I like this one or the "new element" one the best.

You have a wonderful sense of humor.
This goes so well with my first cup of coffee of the day.

Thanks,
Pat

Hi Toe, here's your first cousin kneerag

They lost all the mayo
With that lovely ship Titanic
Will I send you some from Belgium
Lots of mayo there, so don't panic

Did I tell you you are my favorite cousin???

But it's the last day I'm wearing my kneerag, because I will be operated on my knee tomorrow.

..er....your poem is great, but I have the feeling there's something missing here....er....that tall guy from down South? LOL

(giggles in delight) Yep yep yep, and then Don Francisco promoted the new commodity on... "Sabado Gigante!", he called it "Poco de Gallo"! LOL! This is so cute, sweet friend, I just love reading your wonderful thoughts, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Toerag, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Toe,
You have a turn of mind my friend that is the living end. And this will stay within my head, whenever I put mayo on my bread.

Mayo in lieu of toejam? I don't use mayo, but your puns go great on the buns.

"Food tastes better with Hellman's....tell that to larry the lettuce?"
anyone hear those radio adds?

anyway Toerag, I still think tomato sauce is better on food. Enjoyed the read.
