I should buy
a suit with stripes,
red lined
as a government floor.
No one could
approach my desk
without signing
triplicate forms.

The numbered asks will soon unset
any answers you may have.
Offering pins and fountain pens
at the foot of a new line.

Might I see your face,
your hands?
Might we exchange
currency?
Might our words brush out this pit.
May we choose conformity?

Yes, yes,
I can see it now.
Your face in photographs will smart.
Your hands will spill drinks with panache.
Your money is good -- and that's a start.

slow death

society's attempt at
showing us what aging feels like
just a tiny bit faster

Hmm ...
Should we campaign for a PIP Party?

Opus, Milo and Bill the Cat
kicked me off the Meadow ticket.

LOL

Congrats, Sen. You have just set up a challenge phrase for yourself to write about. (what, you thought it was over? )

Thanks, everyone.

First off, heck of a good picture, Mikey...

unset
any answers?

If you know, let me know, okay?

I nominate

THAT GUY
yes that one right there

the one running through my yard
with a flaming tiki torch
stuck in his head

HEY, BUDDY?
WANNA JOB?

'cause you don't like Bush either?
I'd gladly unseat his term ... is there
a rewind button?

Oh, the picture ...
Something I took yesterday
with my digital.
The only one that came out.

Lori likes my eyes,
so I thought I'd show them to her again.

Cute. Politicians scare me. Like amazingly. Especially yr American politicians. (I'm pretending the Canadian ones don't exist; they don't do anything.)

your tongue's like poison
so swollen it fills up my mouth
