I love taffy
so soft and pliable.
I love to mold it,
sweet and chewable,
a joy to my senses.
I think of you
in terms of
taffy.

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Like faces are to hearts
They serve for sweet relieving
When fantasy and reality lie too far apart

That is now how a nurse should respond ...
Actually, we all should be taffy-like to our partners ... sticky, too

There's only a few places where you can get good salt-water taffy - the best kind, of course.  Then to have the ultimate pleasure, one must enjoy a taffy pull - nothing quite like it.  It's best that you enjoy a taffy pull with someone that you get along with, too, otherwise, it's not near as much fun.  This was a sweet-tooth type of poem...something that lasts in the mind, as well as stuck between your teeth...
