Inspired by yesterday's weather, not finished until this morning. bee flits wasp dives birds perch gnats thrive summer’s taken a swipe of air and filtered in sweet sunshine there the rocking of the feeder frees my thoughts to flutter in the breeze would summer choose to come anew before the autumn winds are through? a horse fly sails past window pane sorely confused from lack of rain but I shall loll and ponder well this lovely time of autumn’s spell put in a pause and soothing voice and weave the day a lovely choice ©October 7, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
