In Echo of Me Did the sun warm your face this day? Did you feel I held you deep in pray? Did you awaken, feel the sun’s caress? And in the quiet times, feel ever blessed? Were you tossed about, by a breeze? Did you feel, then, a moment’s ease? Did a poet’s heart warm, touching your own? Did you guard a child from a stumble o’er stone? Did you hear the lark, and mourning dove? Did you know, you were my true love? Are the echoes of night, still in your smile? Were your dreams of us ever worthwhile? Twelve queries, o’er which to ruminate As echoes of me come to your mind’s gate. |

You have just wrote such a lovely reminder that I've been meaning to work on sonnets again, Kari. This is a lovely way to start my day--I thank you. |

A very sweet read Sunshine....we do carry the echo of love in all of us...that feeling that keeps repeating "I love you" created by that one person who does truly love us. ...believe what your heart feels..... |

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, I just love this, sweet friend, love is something that can never be escaped and even when distant can echo from mles away and be quite tangible! (big hugggsssss) This is gorgeous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Karilea, I wish I could ruminate like that! Lovely as can be. Thanks for starting my day right. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Ooooooooh, Karilea, this is sooooooo pretty!!! It is really a good poem to read first thing. I liked everyone's responses, too. Poets really are a nice, tenderhearted group of people, huh?? Thanks again to all of you for welcoming me into Passions In Poetry!! Karilea, did you get my e-mail? Just wondering because I was having trouble with my internet connection yesterday. Again, thanks for sharing your beautiful poetry with us. Love, Ethel..........garysgirl |

This is truly great. As I read it the third time through I found myself swaying in my chair to the rhythm of it. I liked the sentiment of the words as well. without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |

I really like this. By the time I read it the third time I was swaying in my chair. The rhythm is super and the sentiment, heart-melting. It's so good. Pat without surrender, be on good terms with all persons... |
