TASTE OF A DREAM

a moon
sifted powdered sugar
into black rain

and a hot, sweet,
wind-stirred syrup
began
slow sliding from
sultry night sky
onto me,
onto you

it was
a dream taste,
a delicacy boiled
in midnight storm

make it come true

This has such a lovely, tender feel to it. Well done!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
