Today: She lies in glaring light alabastered ivory goddess Blue contoured on white sand Queen of all she surveys. Today she dazzles me a mortal Today I envy the sands that cradle The restless sea that surges like a tethered stallion in heat against her thighs Today I wish myself a billowing cloud above her granting her shade. or a cooling mist alighting unnoticed upon her sunlit skin. today she is iridescent Sunglassed Poised and knows the power of her grace. Tomorrow I will be here again waiting. [This message has been edited by Radrook (10-04-2002 05:27 AM).] |

I loved this. Great writing and your words painted a wonderful picture in my imagination. And in my humble opinion, that to me is the sign of a good writer. Hugs, Marti Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. |

As I read down the titles, I was so surprise to see one written about me! You can imagine my surprise and my pleasure. Then as I read it, I got the distinct impression that it was written for someone else! Oh, well, maybe next time! tehe On a more serious note, this is one fine piece of writing! Very well done! I hung on to every word---with a little bit of envy of the object of your adoration and a lot more envy of the talent of the man who wrote it! Very well done! EA |
