though I should be in bed...so as soon as I post this, I'm using my head and saying "Good night."

Lamentations to Go

the hurrier I go
the behinder I get
I feel I’m so slow
in this contrived lament

I seek for to labor
I needs me some bread
yet moments to savor
are thinner than thread

the making of money
to afford sweet release
in lands that are sunny
are covered with fleece

for labor takes time
and we’re each given some
yet for the sake of a rhyme
I’m made mute and dumb

most work all their lives
for a rest at the end
in sweet sunny climes
just over the bend

yet some have now learned
that others contrived
and have left them quite spurned
in how they’d survived

the markets have blundered
and thundered too small
and their livelihood sundered
to another’s fine hall

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Virginia?

I will put this in my library...as "my" today's message.

I thank you much.
