Have you never felt it there
in the silence of aware
upon the neck -  antennae hair –
profound presence of a prayer

(someone loves me)
sends me greet
oil poured, most savory,
upon my unbecoming feet

Someone’s out there.
Someone cares.
Knowledge speaks
within the night
yanking blanket of despair--

someone prayed for me tonight.

*     *     *

Thanks to all--I could feel ya'll with me all night.

I am so relieved to see you online. And there is power in the prayer of many voices.

Our noon news said that although the storm was still bad, it could have been a whole lot worse.

Hugs, Marti

Amazin' ain't it?
That a few hundred poets, a couple dozen witches and a wranx, could knock the teeth from a Cat.4 hurricaine?

whoda guessed?

Glad yer safe, witch

Glad to see you "weathered" the storm. The power of prayer is an awesome thing.
