Discovered in a cave near the Dead Sea Book of many books, read and followed flocks sauntered in the night wolves in sheep skin stirred some fright. but holy man was there to save the day! did religion start that way? a creature said apple and there was man some worked six days in another land devout developed forms and customs timed events ran through sifted sands lead people along palm decked routes early paparazzi followed suit on authorship of the first plan..who agreed to the 'rightful'ownership of the key? but then so many knelt to kiss holy robes and witnessed stories still unfold... book of many books hidden away some eventually reach the light of day think that what we write is here to stay? think better...about the Dead Sea scrolls books of many books disappear I'm told. These thoughts intrigue the mind. For the treasures that beget treasures, when surely it is the mind of the wanderer that creates reality. I really liked this. ThisDiamond |

and there's always something else being unearthed that helps complete a truer picture of the past |

It makes you wonder how much the archeologists really know, when everything they find changes their story so much. I enjoyed your poem. Nan(Pilgrim variety) |

Hey Nan, How are you doing? That's precisely my point and I used to love history..thinking it was so 'authentic'. Now I can take it from another angle by understanding the motives of the author through the way historical facts are portrayed |
