I wrote this tongue-in-cheek poem for my Dad's benefit when I was away at school (years ago!), to show him that I was behaving myself while living in residence! tehe

~
Hear me well, of my intent
To guard my virtue Heaven-sent
For 'tis by choice lest I repent
Hear me well

Hear me well, I'll not succomb
Not for a crown or any sum
Nor shall I drink your demon rum
Hear me well

Hear me well, I shall not dole
My favors or my heart and soul
Until sweet wedding bells do toll
Hear me well
~

And he believed you?

Nice job!

Mr. T.--

Well, with a twinkle in his eye and a grin from ear to ear, he reminded me of the Florence Nightengale Pledge for nurses to "promise to pass my life in purity"!

Have a lovely evening! See you tomorrow!

But just how ensconced in cheek,
IS that tongue?

Your poem, is no doubt, better for for his blood pressure......than the wonder.

Good for a chuckle.

Wranx---

Were you being a naughty boy with that question? tehe

I wrote this many years ago, but I recently showed this to my daughters and they got a chuckle out of it as well.

Take Care!

Noah--

Now you know we angels are pure and never, ever have sex or drink or....I think I'm going to pack up my halo! This angel stuff is for the birds---in fact, the birds can have my wings--they need them more than I do!
