Forgiveness

The dark angels' crimson grin,
callously evolves into your smile.
Desperately, you screech with regret,
as your gentle lies are placed on trial.

Anxiously, your eyes flutter,
as the angel strangles your heart.
Motionless, your soul twitches
as your life is stretched and torn apart.

A burst of reality reveals,
the way you groped my innocence.
Bathing in your sweet bile,
I struggle with the words; forgiveness.
