Unwrapping hearts we did a lot
I started first there in Cape Cod
I unwrapped hearts all the way down
Untill I reached this Tampa town

There you gave me your heart in gold
And many times I did unfold
My heart to all the poets dear
With tears of joy and laughter's cheer

I miss you Margie lady,
Big HUGS and KNUFFELS

Welcome back to the baby blue pages dear Marge. You and all the rest of the poets who gathered were missed.

This poem is so special and it is to be treasured. I am grateful I got to be a tiny bit of the poet's gathering.

Hugs, Marti

I am green with envy I'm so glad you all had such a good time and got to meet face to face. I hope the next PIP meeting is closer to "home" so that I too may bask in the love and friendship of my fellow poets. Here's hopeing that the "circle" ever widens until the ripples reach outward and encompass the entire world, making everyone a poet...

Life's unattainable dream...peace on earth... resides in the heart of every poet.
Peace,love,light,friendship and poetry,
Tammy

It was wonderful to meet you and Bill and everyone else, Marge...
We just got home Sunday night...really late and this is the first I have really been able to sit at my computer for a few minutes.
Hopefully, tomorrow... I will be able to post some memories also...
Thanks for the lovely poem
