Upon my heart, cascades a brilliant resonance The voice to be so dear in reigning eminence To lift my life in gentle hands and octaves high Upon my heart, one answer dwells in reason why Upon my lips, to taste of sweetened summer rain The voice to soothe content in softest of refrain To smooth the features of my face in gentle smile Upon my lips, to sip this nectar filled beguile Upon my life, to brighten easily in tone The voice to be as sung in me alone To lift my heart in tender ways and joyful days Upon my life, so much of you in light cascades Copyright Kkh 10/01/02 |
