Best of Friends

It has been a dream all my life
To have a horse I could call my own
I would ride out in the sunshine
All day long by myself alone

My horse and I would best of friends
We would have a mutual understanding
If she did happen to get spooked
She would not send me a flying

Once in a while underneath a big tree
We would rest underneath a shade
Planning our next big adventure
Our path with would carefully pave

We would find us a secret spot
Together she and I would be
As she took me to the places
I would really like to go see

To reward her for her efforts
An apple I would give her everyday
For the journey she took me on
To brighten up my day

My mother will love this, I am going to show her when I get home tonight

She shares your love for horses, what a great depiction of the care and companionship here.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, I have always loved horses so much and while I am one of the worst horseback riders! (LOL!) I do love their company so much and I feel they are brothers and sisters to us spiritually! (big hugggsssss) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!
