A Day of Glide

On tired wings and random day
O’er seeping sands and daffodils play.
While coffee whispers sate my mind
I try to see beyond my blind.

I‘d search and grind a basic fuel
And with alchemy as my tool
I’d pick and chose a day well blest
Such a one a fool would divest

And with its nectar as sweet stir
I’d pestle all I would defer
Since sanctuary was my goal
To serve the aching of my soul

Forgive me if I pass you bye
A youthful field is not my lie.
I seek surcease a mind of peace
It says right here within my lease.

I signed this lease a gift of tongue
When I was very, very young.

Mr. T., good morning, good morning, good morning! How are you this fine fall day?--at least it is here in Ontario!

How do you keep on putting out such high quality literary works? I just checked to see how many original postings you have made and the number is 1,226! Incredible that you have maintained such a high calibre of writing!

Yes, I'm having a good morning, because it started off with you! Whoops-a-daisy! There are some readers out there who may misconstrue what I just wrote. Oh, well, let them think what the like! tehe

~ smiles hugs to you always ~

smiling...just woke up, and? y'ever have a vivid dream that you forgot about and then something suddenly jolts your mind into remembering? Well, sy, you just did that with this poem. I dreamed I was MEDITATING...grin, very bizarre, that. lol

whoa. I'd better go make some coffee. Time to get a little stress pumping in my blood, I'm feeling far too mellow...Groovy poem dude. Peace out.

coffeee... <---my mantra

and I wrapped these soulful words around
the lonesome thought of quiet sound
to tend my grow, and raise my bless
for this poem, and its quietness...

You do know how to weave!  My favorite lines:

While coffee whispers sate my mind
I try to see beyond my blind.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Seymour darling heart I miss you sooooo much, here's the hug you would have had this morning...... anything else I can give you darling heart? A cup of coffee perhaps?

As always darling your writing is utterly utterly amazing, and I love it. But you know that of course, sending you warm smiles sunny kisses and I'll phone soon

I have been kicked off the comp here at the library so this is not one of my usual replies
Love nad warm stuff

I can't imagine anyone less blind than you, dear friend... for you see with a searching soul and write in such a way that others see, too. *S* This is wonderful... You don't just mention my favorite flower, you create a poem that joins my list of favorites. *S*

Sy, I am behind in my postings but had to comment on this wonderful poem.

You are truly the master of words and I always look forward to reading your poems.

Blessing to you ... Marti
