Isidore

They ride in with the tide
all lined up side by side
waiting for the gates to rise
so they may escape
their fate and Isidores blind hate

The Boats of the Bay try to hide out of the way
in the sheltered waters of the Causeway
Seeking sanctuary in this time of storms
the shrimpers hit their horns to tell
the bridge keeper his job

The winds began to gain strength
each hour soon you will discover the power
of a tropical wraith on the coastline
from Louisiana to Florida all will learn that compact or not a storm is a storm

So the boats pour forth seeking their shelter from this wet hell soon to unleash its burden on the Gulf coast and its Boats of the bay all lined up waiting either way on this very cloudy day

(big hugggssssss) Oh Thomas, I watched the Weather Channel and heard all about Isadore and hope everything is alright down there! (sigh) This was indeed a powerful storm, sweet friend, this is heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Thomas, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Each day is just a trek on path--
tomorrow brings--another wrath?
Or is it just the winds of change?
A hint that life be re-arranged?

Certainly, we can build fort.
Certainly, it's that, we do.
We are the port
of call--subdued.

Created by the winds we chain.

Now that is the truth! Please hang on tight, the season isn't even over yet.
