This is a repost by special request:
Hey Marty, here it is! ;-)
************************************************

Now that your birthday is over,
are you conscience of your age ?
Do you feel that life has past you by ?
Inside there's a smoldering rage ?

Are you living each day, unhappy ?
Like the birds, you want to fly free ?
Responsibilities , all over powering.
Is this how you want it to be ?

You're now at the top of the hill.
There's no where to go but down.
You began to search for answers.
Your world starts slowing down.

At one time age had no meaning,
you climbed the ladder, one step at a time.
But now that you've reached the top.
You're in sight of life's posted sign.

As you read, what is written there.
New awareness starts to seep in.
You absorb the meaning of the words.
Then down the ladder you slowly descend.

Your destination is half way over.
To be opened, are other doors.
With the knowledge rebounding within you,
you know the choices, are only yours.

You have to make your decisions,
It will be now or never at all.
The sign read..."It's your life, so live it.
Don't wait...Last chance...Last call."

* That which gives light, must endure burning *
