Soaked in sunset somber dreams upon the highest turret trellis to watch the fading of the day summon now the hopes inside of me unlike the night has never seen. A trance, a thought, a theme of life enveloping my mind and mastering the spirit of my soul...carressing me so carefully as I look out and long to the boundaries of the day. The horizon...begging night. The grandeur of these battlements upon the days of old the eroding stones of time...are pressing me to fathom my own mortality. Such my life so well constructed and ever how so great my former glory chronicled in yesteryears... my childhood the day that ever burns away with time...moving closer where the twilight rules the dust and night will come to stay. I meditate in modest means... comparing thee with this heavenly horizon... so vivid, deep...devine harboring a hope in me that my final acts in all my life will someday come to shine In twilight thoughts I come to find this tower's turret's keep... has withstood the tests of time... as will I hope my spirit shall when my body passes on no longer burning with the day As the cycle of the moon may pass will come to find my final work my masterpiece of life... where my horizon will burn bright and my soul will live on through the night -Jedi |
