Fade

I miss you seconds
after your sweet words
fade in my ear. My hearts
feels the pull of loneliness
in the silence that surround
me.I begin to wait for time
to tick tock its way by with
impatience and longing to feel
your words touch me and
your soul caress me bonding
us through the miles that
keep us so far apart.

A touch can travel many miles and still feel as warm as it did when it left. Nicely written!

Ah, the longing of missing someone special. You’ve captured it perfectly with this piece. So nice to see you back Tara.

Hi, Rosepetals (I love your user name). I know what you're talking about in your poem. My Gary and I spend a lot of time on the telephone, since we are not in the same town right now. I really look forward to our daily phone calls. I like the way you expressed yourself. Thanks for sharing.

LiviEden - Thank you for reading.  Welcome to Passions, I hope you love it here as much as I do (even if I never get to visit as much as I want to)

Tracey - Much longing.. I miss my Dave ALL the time.. even when I talk to him.. because I know eventually we have to hang up.  Thanks for stopping in

Noah - I'm glad you like it, and I sincerely appreciate your sweet words.

Susan - It's so good to see your name   I haven't spoken to you in forever! I will have to email you soon.  Thanks for reading.

Moonlight Romeo - Don't thank me, thank Dave.  He is my inspiration for everything that I do.  I'm glad you liked.

Samantha - What a kind response! Thank you

Bill - You and I both.. It's nice to know someone knows how I feel.

Michael - *Hugs* Thank you my friend

James - I work right next to an airport.. If you only knew how many of my daydreams consist of running from my desk and hopping on a plane...

Charisma _- *Hugs* right back to you.  I hope you are doing well   Thank you for taking a look.

Ethel - It's hard isn't it?  Again, its nice to know someone shares my feelings.  I hope you and Gary get to reunite soon.  Thank you for reading and responding.
