China Doll

Fragil little china doll
Skin bruised so easily
Vintage wisdom your words come
  slowly

Tales you tell of years gone by
people long passed still linger
  in your dreams
Friendships that come alive
in the deep recesses of the night
  mindful of mornings realities

Little worries of others
keep you mindful of your fragility
Your watchful eye keeps vigil
  for the opportunity to connect

You linger in aloneness reaching out
to the young.
You hear the anguish of those that
  come after you

You offer comfort with
the memories of your own struggles
Selfless with more to lose with every
  passing moment

I respect you little China Doll
I Love you
  Grand ma ma...

Thank you Tierdin and Irie,
