ODE TO TOE by Earth Angel ~~~~~~~ Oh, once upon a time, Across an azure sea There lived a princely rag, His name was Toe, you see. Each morning he would wrap himself, In rags of rich, fine linen, Half his day was as a saint, --the other half was sinnin'! Toe--- I just read your second reply, "a penny?" Well actually, I always did consider the saying, "A penny for your thoughts!", to be under valuing the other person's thoughts. So, to be honest, I'd pay a lot more for your thoughts----especially if you were to put all your comedic genius in a book that I could purchase! ~ still smiling! ~ Linda |

Again I want to thank all of you sweet people for the kind words and to the Angel that wrote this....I've never met a person here I've had any real trouble with, even with my terrible and sometimes offensive poems that are never meant to hurt or ridicule anyone...thanks again one and all..... |

EA, Yup...he's that and more. I love my 'deer friend Toe, He is a so and so. But as to his assaults, Made on other's faults; It's all been done in jest, Because he loves us best! You can always depend upon Toe, Even when you're in a jam. And if you feel alone, He will send you spam. And if we stub our Toe, It's because he cannot see. After all he's in the dark, And that's no mystery. And if Toe seems like a hangnail, It's just because of pain. After all he's got feelings too, He shared in my own pain. Okay I'll quit it's out of control. |
