In the Botanical Garden Went to Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden on Saturday night for an evening hike. Took walking shoes, insect repellent, rain gear and a big flash light. As our group approached the lake it was beautiful under a full Hawaiian moon. That's when I began to think about me and my sweetheart and how we had parted way to soon. Nights like this in this place of peace and tranquility help me to realize and understand how much I need her close to me. I miss her kiss on evenings like this. I continue to miss her company. I really loved the emotion and image associated with this. Maybe its only me, but I had a great picture in my head while reading this. ![]() Kielo |

James, this sounds like such a romantic place. I am sorry you didn't have your love with you. A broken heart is always hard to deal with. Hugs, Marti Every now and then take a good look at something not made |

I can't even pronounce the name of the garden ya went to?...I went to one of those botanical gardens once...they had all those names posted next to the plants and shrubs, all with the common name and the Latin name like: Alba Aurea..white flowering shrub, Odorata offianalis-scented hanging herb, pendula pubescen-hanging hairy leaf fern, and on the way out they had a pay phone next to the exit and I wrote above it: Paycoinus Telephonus |

Sounds like Toe is a bit of a vandal. ![]() I relate to this James. Even with my second wife I still wished that my first was by my side in times like these. During the years I have been single and in times like these, I wish for any of the 'gentler' sex though, I must admit, I am completely beyond each of my wives in the romantic sense. ![]() I guess one becomes content with one’s poetry when one opens the book ten years hence and does NOT exclaim, “Did I really write this?” |

![]() (big hugggsssss) Oh James, this is so very sad, I'm so sorry you went alone and saw this without her but I know with a heart as deserving as yours you will soon share many magical nights with her in the gardens! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing! ![]() May love and light always shine upon you!
