The invisible barrier had stood unchallenged
From infancy, it kept it secrets hidden
The mind had wandered close
But had been driven off by unseen forces

In a light restless sleep
Of uncertain dimensions
The magnetic forces of self doubt
Carried the soul through unhindered

In a slight look back, you see it reform
In a reflective ghost of your past
Being driven by your will to go forward
The doubts turn into this incredible awe

In reflective pools scattered about
It seemed each carried a different vision
Of enlightenment that creates more questions
Than answers, but somehow soothed the mind

Challenged from so deep within
The soul danced so free in inspiration
Free floating in an unrestricted paradise
Which nothing could imprison

In the waking light the visions fade
But the memories blossom
Refreshed in the new found brilliance
Seeking the new found horizons

In the winds of change
The seed pot of your existence
Floats among the currents of your mind
To fertilize the world’s thinkers

So in your independence
That sets your mind at ease
You walk the talk of changing scenes
Creating music that carries you forever
