Running To Water In dire need of relief from a tormented soul I've taken on uncertain at best while away I thirst for what you used to hand the weak So, you'll find me running to water these days... It's going to take an ocean to say my desire here Lots of water to calm the seas in my heart Don't mind that my run to water consoles my being Be what takes all the pain away while apart... I'm dry to the touch I once felt awhile Down with unbearable roughness hanging on I'm running to water to soothe the day gone bad That these past few days brought along... Oh, I crave for refreshment only what you can provide I beg for where the rivers reside To end the hunger I've found to endure Running to waters safety in my mind for sure... Pardon my escape through brush and woodlands out there I need clearance to quench what feels like you don't care But, I'll find my way to the waters edge Even being thorned to comforts bed... Oh, there's safety in bodies of water that lie Only available when I become teary-eyed So, I'm running to water to take what I hold Oh, I so don't mind if the run off is cold...
