When choking back tears
So none leave a trace
Can heartaches be seen
With a smile on my face

Where heartbreak grows
Beyond this disguise

With smiles in my eyes

When I send you letters
With tear drop stains
Can heartaches be seen
Have you read my pains

Would you ever realise
What is on the inside
Can heartaches be seen
Does heartbreak confide

What parts do you view
Where flows my heart
Can heartaches be seen
What do my words impart

Heartache can be seen in someone else, if one were to look into another's heart and not be all wrapped up in their own.

Sadly...I think heartache just oozes out of a person.

I hope your heartache heals soon. This poem was so well written but filled with sorrow.
