1st Day 1st official day of fall today had to pull on my sweats beneath my gown and robe as the chill attempted probe beneath the layers even so the sun has shown brightly all morning and finches perch feeding the chill out of their bodies fascinating time of reds, golds late harvest heavy dews sparkling in the sunlight that rises so quickly one can barely believe its passing like a fiery chariot leading the race keeping its pace as rapid as its coursers can fly as if tarrying at all it would miss the fall of dusk upon us all ©September 22, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

It's a cool one here to-day as well. To think that just yesterday here in Ontario it was tank top and shorts weather!! Enjoyed this write. Great write vas... Btw I know i'm rediculously late with this, but yea, i thought you were talking about me in your poem after the frost. And no i have no relation to the great robert frost...at least none that I know of. Though i wish maybe something would have rubbed off on me. lol! |

Wonderful poem. It was indeed a little cold this morning. I love the fall when all the leaves start turning colors. |
