I heard him first
in inner ear
goosebumps of
there's-someone-near

I knew him as my own heartbeat--
like ground beneath the bare of feet.
I saw him without seeing eyes,
and wished I had not compromised.

Should have waited
pounded brain.
But I debated metronome.
I wish I had anticipated
flesh-and-bone
I could call home.

fastinating phrases but I have to admit I don't understand it. I don't know if it's because it's too late in the evening or if it's just me and I'd never understand it.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

It's good to be in the South, again.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Karen, I understand this homesick feeling ever so well, so bad that though its just a faint mentronome it is all beating you up like that ones own heartbeat! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I hate debating metronome. . . my neck always gets stiff. . .

love this one. . .
