After All I'm Not A Quitter
~By Sue~

The days are so long and lonely
All of the nights are much longer
I struggle through the days
Waiting for them to get better

Trying to find the hope once there
But dark clouds seem to follow me
With nothing to look forward to
All I want to do is to sleep

I try to find something each day
That will keep me busy
To preoccupy my mind
It seems there is no hope for me

Sometimes I think about dying
Thinking I will never make it
Long enough to get myself
Up out of this awful pit

Depression seems to take it's hold
Often times it's hard to stay up
In my mind I often do think
Everything here is just too much

Then I think about the people
With troubles worse than my own
Some that will never go away
When I am sitting here alone

Some day my troubles will be gone
And life will seem alot better
If only I will just hang on
After all I'm not a quitter

(big hugggsssss) Yes, perserverence is the key of true happiness, and you are a true woman of strength and determination and with it I know you will be happy! (sigh) I send hugs of courage to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sue, you are anything but a quitter. You are one of the biggest winners I know.

One of the things you can do to keep busy is to keep writing. Your poems release so much of your emotions and that will help you get through the tough days and nights.

And if you get down you email me.

Hugs, Marti

That's my kind of spirit.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

Your words prove that you are not a quitter Sue.  Very well done gal.

If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream...
