Where Poetry Grew ~*Marge Tindal*~ In the quiet of porch-swing read that's where this poetess found seed Print of verse in hands so small reaching out ... touching all~ All I am ... or hoped to be seeded in the pages of poetry "Yes ... you can."Grandma said, filling up my writer's head~ Dare that I, should even try to cultivate a writer's dream Seeding the ink of thought across the pages of everseem~ ~*~ She believed in me long before I knew that I could believe in myself .... The porch swing still calls the little girl of me and I return to those days on a train-of-thought "Grandma", I whisper, " Are you there?" "Yes, child .... I am always here." ~Oh, Grandma ... listen to this I wrote it just for you~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

"are that I, should even try to cultivate a writer's dream Seeding the ink of thought across the pages of everseem~" Oh, Marge. Here you go with my favorite "little ink of think" ... oh, how I love it when you let this particular muse flow so beautifully. What a wonderful tribute to your grandmother. I just loved this. Best wishes, /Kit |

I bow to you in all humility. This appealed to me on all levels and this is a shining testament of your talents as a poet. It touched me on so many levels. ~ Your Grandma is sweetly smiling down on her beloved grandaughter with pride and adoration ~ Linda |

Marge: A lovely, tender poem and I'm sure you have far exceeded your Grandma's hopes for you. Strangely enough, it was my grandmother who encouraged me to write poetry also, when I was ten. She didn't live long enough to read more than my first attempts. Betty Lou Hebert |

This is so touching to me, it reminds me of my Grandmother, who always had faith in me even when nobody else did. Before she passed away I wrote her a poem, i was younger at the time and i didn't think it was poetic enough to submit i guess. But after reading this, i think i will. You've inspired me. |

~Friends~ I so appreciate each message left on this piece~ My great grandma was gracefully loving and kind~ She ran a tough little ship when it came to believing in my abilities ... and encouraging me to reach beyond myself through my writing ... she passed away when I was a teen ... but ... I never, ever forgot about the faith she had in me ! I've tried to open up and 'listen' and then to share with others ... AND I go to the porch swing yet to be close to the spirit of her~ She is 'always here'~ You all are so kind .... and I appreciate you more than I'm able to say~ Honest Injun ! Love n' hugs~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

This is so beautiful... both the poem and the love that nourished the poet. *S* |
