When I was with you, there wasn't a doubt that life only meant times of doing without I tried to forget what my dreams were about when I was with you... When I was with you, I learned how to cry You tied up my wings, I forgot how to fly I almost, but not quite, learned how not to try when I was with you.... But I'm not with you and no more will I be My wings he untied so that now I fly free The dreams I thought lost, he returned them to me No, I'm not with you... Once I was with you, seems a lifetime away All the hurt's been absorbed by what I have today and there isn't a lot I feel I need to say since I'm doing much better without you! The music is playing..it's your turn to dance! |
