After hours, in a friends' bar, a small, select group of regulars sat at a table, in the “Vault” (The Bar had once been The Bank) drinking free booze and playing, not so free, Poker Caroline was sitting on my knee “assisting” We were using her money, after all “Was” her money, as “cards” were not, forthcoming Or perhaps, her warm wiggle and girlish giggle had put me off my game As I leaned forward to toss away the last awful hand I suggested that we adjourn back to my place, for a while “What about your girlfriend?” “Well, I really like Belle and we’ve been together for…” “No,no,no. What I meant was” “What about your GIRLfriend?" ~wranx In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward". ~wranx~ [This message has been edited by wranx (09-07-2002 08:53 PM).] |
