Why are we always
in such a hurry to fight?
Why can't we sit and focus
on PEACE tonight?
How many PEACE plans
did we bring to the table?
How many PEACE initiatives
did we enable?
Does history not tell us WAR is futile?
Does HUMANITY not care when it is brutal?
Why are we always in such a hurry to fight?
Have you ever seen a WAR
that had PEACE as its offspring?
Why can't we just try for PEACE tonight?

this one certainly fits the timbre of my column that will come out next Tuesday in our twice-weekly paper.

I agree, let our reps go to the table with talks of peace over war.

If we had peace... then what would we do with all of our good weapons?
and what would happen to all of our people in the armed services?

Now you see, Kacy... Larry must be right...
The government is afraid that it might go to waste so they are trying to actually be economical about something...

Now why can't they be as economical about energy and about the environment?

These are the building blocks of civilization .... not war!

Sheesh! Kacy... I was trying to get sleepy, and now you've got me on my soapbox and I'm all wound up like a chipmunk again...

Let's go out and carry our Make Love Not War signs again? I just hope the world leaders can sit on their guns for once, and try to find a peaceful solution. LOL at the thought of nothing for those soldiers to do. Suppose they gave a war and nobody came? I will never give up the 'fight' for Peace.

(big hugggsssssss) The way I see it, the only reason Bush is demanding to get us into war is so he can get the Republican Party their votes and support for the 2004 Election! (sigh) This is so very wrong to me and I wish for this to be reconsidered for violence will only lead to more violence, his is powerful, we all love you so much! Thanks, for reading. I just hope that as a species we can find some way to accomplish our desired goal, of stability and world Peace, without relying on Dr.Death methods every time there is conflict.
