Through the Looking Glass

I wasn’t made for the sea,
The rise and fall of waves.
Disappearing beneath the water crests,
Diving into a deep blue tranquility,
Finding myself blind in the dark recesses,
Consorting with the living coral,
And gentle current undulates.

I am consumed by the depths.
Making my home among the stones and the sands.
Time will wash away my likeness,
And light never penetrating to my crystal blue-grey eyes.

I am fallen beneath the waves.
Gathering the rippling waters to my breast,
Feeling fully their chilled embrace,
Here in the depths.

I like ripples, even the ones that flow deep. Maybe they are the ones that contain the deepest truths?

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE

I think your vision is "crystal clear" and you had an interesting way of conveying that.
I enjoyed the depth of your writing.
