And here I linger

Lost in the thoughts of moist sweet pine
Spirits of the eve to call me back...Back
Into the twilight walk on moonlight carpet steps

     Over and Over...

And here I linger

     Standing on the golden shores
Breathing in the swells of frothy surf come forth

     Again and Again...

And here I linger

Barefoot in the dew drops cool beneath my feet
     Lost and not forsaken
For I call your name into the loving arms
     of remember

     Over and Over...

instantly, TD, i was standing on a shore,
mesmerized by the slapping rhythm
over and over

until i remembered
what was lost...but that's the point of the poem isn't it?  *s*

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Kathleen, such echos of deph and yearning fill your words, sweet friend, and may the seagull cry always respond with a dolphin weep of love and may love always listen to your golden heart forever, this is excellent, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Your poetry is hauntingly beautiful, it seems to hang on the crest while it continues to flow so freely.

(I've been meaning to tell you that)

I enjoyed this very much~~~~

"Barefoot in the dew drops cool beneath my feet"

My feet felt the dampness,
and the desire to linger overcame my spirit,
and my eyes moistened from
sweet pine scented memories...

Your imagery inspired me.
