“WHISPER TO THE MOON”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
This evening was of elegance,
as the sun fell, touching down…
A radiant moon came out shining,
caressing the mountain’s crown…
It sparkled upon the glacier,
highlighting its magnificence…
Took my deepest breath away,
my heart beat with eloquence …
I looked up, gazed my eyes,
words of wonderment came…
Magical moments was my forte,
moonlight lit the sky aflame…
Nature in breathtaking splendor,
reminds me of you in tune…
Wanted the magic to continue,
perhaps if I whisper to the moon…
Aha!  Yet another poem containing that word!
Yes...the Harvest moon is just about full Bill...and a beauty she is...
One that inspires poems such as this.
Well done.
I think whispers work. I do it all the time, oh wait, maybe not.
This is lovely Bill, simply lovely.
(smiles) Oh Bill, this is beautiful, I love the common theme so many are showing in their poetry today for the Harvest Moon and your wonderful words sparkle with the magic! (big hugggssssss) This is delightful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
'...Nature in breathtaking splendor...'
And words of breathtaking splendor.
The Harvest Moon over New England tonight is covered slightly by a haze that gives off an eerie feel. How I would love to see it over your mountain.
Hugs, Marti
Every now and then take a good look at something not made
with hands -- a mountain, a star, the power of the ocean.
There will come to you wisdom,
