Today I sang the song of you in monochromatic blue, palest hue as winds blew in from the north, chilling me to the bone. Once again, I am alone. How was I to know the song we sang together would die giving birth to the chorus of Love? The notes are all flat. Minor notes they were, to your ears. For me? a major crescendo. A cacophony of turbulent emotions tossed about recklessly, like some 3rd rate rock 'n roll. And now all I can do is sit here and sing in monochromatic blue, missing you. Once again, I am alone. |

This is a sad write. One, I hope, born from your imagination and not of reality. Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

How sad. Yet still a good write. Cold hands means a warm heart |

"And now all I can do is sit here and sing in monochromatic blue, missing you. Once again, I am alone." This, is when I put on a lot of "old" Bonnie Raitt, and just wallow in it. (nothing after '84) ~Ed |

Oh Kacy, sometimes the songs fade way to quickly. And sometimes a little blues cures what hurts inside....well done writing hon. Hugs. If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream... |
