In a time forgotten
we conversed
with more
than single syllables.

You must remember this?

Is it that late in love,
the mistakes too many,
that you must spend
each day
in an endless drift
of empty thought?

Can we not continue on,

to a road of remember
talk again
love again,
as we did before?

Sometimes one must take the lead in order to put another upon the path of love...

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I think Interloper said it all. Lead by example. Love in not lost if one heart continues to reach out to another. Maybe a quiet candlelight dinner and some Mozart would turn those one syllable words into "ohs and ahs"... Just a thought. Keep the faith.
Peace,love,light and happiness
