there is no fire
that burns on the southside
and no shine on the east
the west is just as dark
and the north feels so far away
and the centre holds no desire

and I walk and I walk
first stumbling,
then getting up
back on my feet,
biped again
though bleeding with gashes
as if seeking deliverance
from blocked veins
and locked truths
of fierce sharpness
of emptiness

and Dido croons from
yesterday’s memory radio
“thank you”, she sang
“for giving me the best
day of my life”

reality brings me back
to the open wounds
and harsh reminders
of recent burglary when
dressed as the loot went
my other beloved
leaving behind my collection
of compact discs
and old tapes

where shall I play them I wonder
rather emptily
bringing me back again
to seek the way for my next steps
in this directionless world

the insurance might cover
some of the expenses
hopefully

till then I am
waking up again
and again

(big hugggssssss) Yes, and I truly believe that he will cover the insurance for us all and though we cannot see the signs of direction the faith we old is that compass rose that leads us on. We have the music in all our hearts, gotta love Dido's music too! (smiles) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sudhir, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sudhir

This is intense and sad...with a touch of what sounds like sarcasm.  I hope life gets better for you.

A different write from you my friend.  I hope it is drawn from imagination and not reality

Sudhir,
Interloper is right, hope is drawn from imagination and not reality, enjoyed.

Thank you so very much, each one of you, my dear friends...

Actually last week on Friday, some one got into my apartment, and walked away with my most beloved hi-fi music system... and left behind my 100+ cds and another 75+ tapes... leaving me with no possibility to listen to any music anymore... I am so angry for that... but there is a hint here of the realities of life as well (sarcasm and all intended) as some of you have so correctly picked up...

Regards,
Sudhir

When reality breaks into rubbish, then time finds the door.

Thank you.

Sudhir,
This reminds me of a poem I wrote a while ago called Fragile acetate/She will suffer -- the same idea where music is shred and left like bones of memories once she leaves.

I loved this.
