Superman
Superman
That’s what I want to be today
flying up in my underoos
up
up
and
away

cape flinging back and forth as I stretch over the horizon looking for all that is unjust in this land
I can snap bad guys like rubber bands
Hoping my Lady Lois is near for she will never have anything to fear

Jimmy Olsen sounds out a signal screaming for help as the freckled red head does so well
somebody is trying to knock his bell

The newspaper boy calls out real loud "get your paper! Superman saves the world again!"

I have such strength and power in my hands I could rule any time I want But Ma and Pa taught me better
and I would never do such for I am Clark Kent and raised to do so much for the common man

Truth, Justice, the American way
For today I am Superman
Up
Up
and
Away
