(First part of a set, the second one, “Grandpas Endless Devotion”)

In the color of a sweet yellow rose
You captured me long ago
A long stemmed beauty, standing proud
But yet so defiantly independent
That I had to bow to your reflection

In an innocence that transcended time
Your softness stood clear of corruption
Perfection in seeing the beauty
Even in the imperfection of the existence
That was mesmerized so

In every way, I had to change for you
For as I stood so young and arrogant
You made me become humble but yet proud
Of the simple beauty inside this body
Blossoming in the innocence of being with you

In every year since then
I have chosen a new color
To mix with my tempestuous love
Into a floral enticement
That flatters you so

But as I keep adding my special gift
Your magic inside, reaches far beyond that
To send me wanting more of you than possible
But yet, see the butterfly fly, in a free spirit

In the nectar of my love for you
Your brilliance escapes realism
Within the wild flowers of every description
Dancing in whirling bare feet
In clover so soft that my heart melts

In the white pedals of a daisy
Your uncomplicated beauty is radiated
In the purity in the simplest of things
Standing so independently proud

In the red rose, I devour you
In that special way, that makes you smile
Making you feel so much like a woman
Wanted in that very special way

That springtime is assured
For my bouquet for you
Is an every changing arrangement
In all the colors of the rainbow
Reaching beyond the heavens
Into your arms
Of ever lasting love

Yes, this is an outstanding arrangement..
absolutely breathtaking and so beautiful!!!

Love the colors and your choice of words, this deserves a crystal vase, placed in the foyer so no one can miss it.

Just lovely, really!!!
